One such location is Canada, one of the largest mining countries in the world. Having been mined since the 17th Century, it is considered as the world’s largest exporter of minerals and metals.  

Ontario has been a leading metals producer for close to a century and the changes being phased into their mining act are hoped to further improve the industry.

Canada is home to the head offices of many mining companies and plays host to large multinationals, some of which are planning on increasing their production rates by millions of tons per year. With large and rich reserves, big companies continue to invest in Canada. One of the most immense Iron ore project’s in the world is currently underway and billions of dollars are being spent on mining in North America.

Canada has been known as the biggest exporter of potash and the discovery of diamonds sparked a renewed interest in exploration.
